What five things set the price?
Five things set a porta potty price: distance from our Richmond yard, unit type, rental length, cleaning frequency and how many units ride on one delivery. Date matters too. Same-day orders and peak weekends cost more. Booking 2 to 3 business days ahead keeps rush charges off the quote.
- Location. Madison County is the base area. Lexington, Danville and London add drive time.
- Unit type. Standard costs least. Accessible, flushing and trailers cost more.
- Length. Events are one flat period. Jobsites bill every 28 days.
- Service. Weekly is included on monthly rentals. Twice weekly adds a visit charge.
- Quantity. More units on one truck lowers the delivery cost per unit.
What does an itemized quote include?
An itemized porta potty quote lists the unit price, the rental period, the delivery and pickup charge, the service schedule, any rush or distance charge and sales tax. Each line is separate. The total on the quote is the total you pay, with nothing added at pickup.
Compare quotes line by line. Ask any company: is pickup included, how often is it cleaned, and is the price for 28 days or a calendar month?
What does a 28-day cycle mean?
A 28-day cycle means monthly porta potty rentals bill every 4 weeks, not every calendar month. Thirteen cycles fit in a year. The first cycle includes delivery. Later cycles are the base rate plus tax. Each cycle renews until you call for pickup.
Worked example: a home remodel needs 1 standard unit for 9 weeks. That is 3 cycles (28 + 28 + 7 days rounds up to a third cycle), plus one delivery charge. Call for pickup on day 63 and the third cycle is the last.
Billing questions
Why do you need my address to give a price?
Price depends on the drive from our yard and which route can carry your unit. Some ZIP codes cover several towns, so the exact address prevents a wrong quote.
Is there a deposit?
There is no separate deposit. You pay the quoted amount by card to reserve the date, and the rental agreement arrives by text and email for e-signature.
Do you invoice churches, schools or agencies after the event?
Orders are prepaid unless an organization has approved net-30 terms. A credit application takes 1 to 2 business days, so apply early.
Do you remove sales tax for tax-exempt groups?
Tax is removed when you send a Kentucky exemption certificate before the invoice is issued.
Do you charge a card or fuel fee?
Any card or fuel charge appears as its own line on your quote. If it is not on the quote, you do not pay it.
Are there discounts for several units?
Orders of 3 or more units share one delivery charge, which lowers the cost per unit. Ask about multi-unit and long-term pricing on the call.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 1 business day before delivery for a full refund. Date changes with the same notice are free when units are open. Read the rental terms.
